"A Country Inn Bed and Breakfast", built in 1760 by Isaac Davis on the shores of Lake Massasecum. The Inn is situated on 168 acres. The cabin, which is separate from the Inn, sits high overlooking the lake and the rolling hills.Settle into one of the Inn’s nine guest rooms, each with a private bath. All rooms have a view of either the surrounding woodlands or of picturesque Lake Massasecum. Some of our rooms have beds for children, and two of them join for a family suite. We also have cots. We offer a comfortable sitting room, or relax by the fire in the Currier and Ives room with one of our many books. The Inn preserves New England’s traditional hospitality. In the hills behind the Inn, a walking trail follows a rocky brook as it winds through the woods. Across the road, a short walk along a tree-lined path brings guests to the private beach, where you can go swimming, use the canoe or rowboat, go fishing, or simply relax with the family.
