Membership requirements are as follows: -- Completed application including all required enclosures. -- $50.00 non-refundable application fee. -- Membership is limited to owners/managers of bed & breakfasts, country inns, small resorts and historic hotels. Members must be a full-time licensed business that is subject to applicable local, county, state and federal regulations. Two or more guestrooms available for the exclusive use of the business. No more than two rooms sharing one bathroom. Property is not part of a chain lodging organization -- in most cases, renovated motel properties are not eligible. Member management is committed to high standards of service, cleanliness, hospitality and ethical business practices. Members must meet all state and local regulations. Membership in a recognized regional B&B association, chamber of commerce, or a national travel association (such as AAA or PAII) is strongly encouraged for NHBBA members. -- Successful initial site inspection with complimentary overnight stay by an association inspector, if deemed necessary by the NHBBA board of directors.
-- Approval of the Board of Directors. -- Balance of dues are to be paid after acceptance as a member. Annual dues are $25.00 which includes a basic listing on the NHBBA web site. Upgraded web site listings are available. NHBBA members are automatically placed on numerous websites at no additional charge
